NEB XI

The 11th Conference in the series
"Recent Developments in Gravity" will be organized by
the Department of Marine Sciences, University of the Aegean on the island of
Lesbos, Greece
The Conference will cover four main frontiers in
gravitational physics:
- Mathematical Relativity
- Strings, Branes and Quantum Gravity
- Relativistic Astrophysics and Gravitational Waves
- Cosmology

THE PROGRAMME OF TALKS
Besides the plenary and keynote lectures there will be also contributed talks
(20 min) presented in separate sessions. The official language of the
conference will be English.

LOCATION AND TIME
The Conference will be held from Wednesday the 2nd till
Saturday
the 5th
of June 2004. All talks will be given in the building of the Marine Sciences
Department at the University Campus.
A welcome reception will be held on Tuesday 1st of June at
the building of the Marine Sciences Department from 18.00 to 21.00
The University Campus can be reached from the Mytilene
Airport (or from the harbor) by taxi for a less than 10 minutes drive with a
fare, approximately 5 euro.
HOW TO ARRIVE
You can reach Mytilene either by plane (Olympic-Airways
and
Aegean-Airways) or by ferry (NEL LINES +30210 4115015)
ACCOMMODATION
Participants
will be accommodated in the hotels:

Heliotrope are located at 10 minutes walking distance (although rising!) from
the place of the conference.

Lesvion are into the town, about 3km from the University campus.
